Meet Kat Pelsmakers

Guiding you to strength, calm and healing - on the mat and beyond.

This practice is for you—your body, your breath, your life.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for strength, stillness, or self-care, I’m here to help you feel empowered, not overwhelmed.

Students often share how they leave class feeling “calmer,” “more grounded,” and “stronger in their body and mind.” With personalised attention and clear, supportive guidance, I aim to meet you where you are—whether that’s working with an injury, building resilience, or finding your breath again after a long day.

I came to yoga while working in a high-pressure international corporate role, searching for something to help me feel whole.

Originally from Belgium and now based in Surrey, I’ve lived and worked across several countries—experiences that gave me a deep respect for different perspectives, bodies, and ways of moving.

In 2018, I left corporate life behind to focus on teaching yoga full-time. Since then, I’ve trained hot yoga, hatha, vinyasa, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, Anusara® yoga, Functional Range Conditioning®, and sound healing, with over 3,000 hours of teaching experience and ongoing training in movement and meditation.

Yoga supported me through cancer treatment—and deepened my belief in its power to heal.

After a 7-month break to focus on healing in 2022, I returned to teaching with renewed clarity and compassion.

I now bring this experience to every class, creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and safe to explore.

Whether you’re just beginning or deepening your practice, you’ll find space here for movement, reflection, and growth—at your own pace.
